چکیده
Los orígenes de la iglesia Compañía Jesús Tunja se remontan cuatro siglos atrás, a inicios del siglo XVII, cuando el templo nace en interior una casa media cuadra plaza mayor, adquirida por los jesuitas para fundar su colegio-noviciado, que fue creciendo poco con muchas dificultades. La fachada solo logra salir calle mediados XVIII. Tras expulsión jesuitas, inicia dispersión bienes muebles y cambio usos templo, convertirá convento-hospital colegio-universidad republicano. En años setenta XX produce intervención fines turísticos desfiguró espacialidad convirtió sala conciertos. ochenta, restauración corrigió parte exterior consolidó cubierta antigua Jesús, hoy usada como templo.
